Verification Engineer

Role overview

As a verification engineer at SemiQon, you will be a crucial part of our mission to redefine the capabilities of quantum computing. You will work closely with our hardware experts and collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and specialists to develop and optimize software solutions that complement our state-of-the-art quantum processors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and develop standardized measurements for verification: You will work with automated room temperature prober to collect statistical data about the fabrication and device quality. You will develop standard characterization procedures with the stakeholders.
• Data-analysis: You will be responsible of supplying reports related to device quality and developing new analysis methods for correlating data from multiple measurements.  
• Device packaging: You will be responsible of device packaging including wire-bonding or flip-chip bonding and device validation after the packing
• Collaboration: You will collaborate and enable the work of quantum engineers by providing the electronics expertise and software support required.‍

Qualifications

Must have

• Diligent mind-set for details: You excel in tasks where focus and attention to detail is required.
• Data-analysis: You have good understanding of statistical analysis and can derive complex correlation paths between large-scale datasets.
• Programming proficiency: You can write python-based analysis scripts and understand complex data-structures.
• Understanding electronics and measurements instruments: You are comfortable with electrical measurement tools and methods.

Good to have

• Experience from industrial operation
• Understanding of CMOS fabrication
• Good understanding of electronics and measurement methods

*A security clearance vetting may be required for the position.
