Cleanroom Student Intern – Summer 2026

If so, we invite you to join SemiQon’s innovative team as a Cleanroom Student Intern.
Role overview
As a Cleanroom Student Intern at SemiQon, you will gain hands-on experience in quantum processor fabrication. You’ll work alongside our fabrication team, supporting prototyping and process development in our cleanroom. This internship is designed to provide exposure to advanced silicon-based quantum technologies and cleanroom operations, helping you develop practical skills and industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with prototyping and process development activities under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Support the execution of fabrication steps and help troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
- Participate in documenting process flows and experimental results.
- Help maintain cleanroom processes and ensure high-quality fabrication outcomes.
- Join technical reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to learn from the team.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, physics, electronics, materials science, or a related field.
- Some laboratory or cleanroom experience (through coursework, projects, or previous internships) is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, willingness to take responsibility, and good communication skills in English.
*A security clearance vetting may be required for the position.
